LA LUZ DEL SOL MEXICANO

Mexico, a place that is one of my favorite winter destinations. Most of the images here are from places around a small village I travel to called Xcalak at the southern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula. A five hour ride from the airport on paved roads followed by another thirty minutes on roads, that on some occasions, when the potholes are in bloom, can, more than likely, swallow small cars, is where Xcalak can be found. The winter light in this part of Mexico is some of the most beautiful I've ever encountered. The light combined with the bright colors of the tropics is a delicious visual feast for the eyes.
